Our History


The Knife is an authentic Argentinian steakhouse that redefines the art of the grill. Our concept invites guests to enjoy a wide selection of beef, pork, and chicken cuts, each cooked to order over charcoal embers to capture that unmistakable handcrafted flavor.


Our story began in Argentina in 1992, and a decade later we brought the tradition north, opening our first U.S. location in Hallandale in 2002. Since then, we’ve stayed true to our roots, serving only top-quality meats and fresh ingredients prepared daily by our chefs.


What sets us apart is our commitment to a simple formula: quality, attention, variety, and value—always with the goal of exceeding expectations. Alongside our signature grill, we offer classic Argentine appetizers and a tempting variety of desserts to complete the experience.
